A small corner

So, having had the most amazing (but busy) weekend in Lincoln for my sisters wedding, I decided last night to create a small vintage haven in my room, with what I currently have with me.
This is the result -

It's a mixture of things, modern perfume bottles mixed with vintage 50s glasses (ebay), vintage hand held mirror and hair brush (charity shop £1.50), vintage jewelry box (ebay) with selection of vintage (one modern) brooches.
At the very back is a packet of vintage (50s) footies, you know, the little foot socks made of stocking material.  These were an amazing ebay find and come with all the original packaging and have never been worn. By the writing on the packet they are Spanish.  But it is interesting to see that something I thought was a fairly new clothing item isn't!

A blank canvass

Hello again,

As I previously mentioned I am in the process of moving flats (once again).

I am hoping not to have to move for quite a while once I am settled, but you never know the twists and turns life is going to throw in your way!

Anyway, my new bedroom is pretty much a blank canvas and with all the fabulous bits and bobs, pictures and hats and jewellery and dresses and ......  you get the picture, I am hoping I will be able to create an amazing, lovely, relaxed, vintage inspired (as if you couldn't guess) haven.

The room is pretty standard in the scheme of things.
Lovely big bed and a super duper large wardrobe (no Foxy, not an excuse to fill it with more vintage frocks), desk in the corner for my computer (one day I will downsize to a laptop) and some space for my storage units.

Not all my stuff is in yet, as I need to go through a lot of it as it comes out of storage - which means there will be some loveliness to share around!  I shall let you know of anything I am selling to give you guys first dibs!
I will post some pictures of what I have done so far after the weekend as I am away at my sisters wedding!!
Yes, I am a bridesmaid (eek!) and here is a sneaky peek of the embellishment on the dresses.  More to follow.
